Two Can Play that Game

The CIA has nothing on a woman with a plan. Hello beautiful people, how are you all this 2023 New Year Season. Before we officially begin, I would like to say a prayer for greatness, success, love, wisdom, growth, healing, and over all superior manifesting for you all year long 2023 (It’s the changes for me). Today I watched an iconic, classic, one for the continuing centuries movies and let me just tell you it’s truly one of my favorites! Can you guess what it is? Okay if you haven’t figure it out already it’s the name of my title Two Can Play that Game. Starring Vivica A. Fox, Morris Chestnut, Anthony Anderson, Monique, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tamela Jones and Gabrielle Union-Wade. Of course, there are multiple talented actors that’s a part of this movie and if you would like the complete line up, please check out the movie bio.

Let us please give these actors and actresses their flowers now please because they’ve all collectively and single handedly graced our screens bringing us soul, passion, love, laughter, action, and the best kiss scenes hands down. Nobody and I mean nobody create a kiss scene like us! Whew we tear the screen up! Now I’ll take you on a quick run-down of the movie because energy is neither lost nor destroyed, it’s merely transferred from what party to the next. (I just throwed in a quote from the movie, if any of you were lost). Can I take a moment and talk about that transferable energy really quick because its real and we need to protect our peaceful energy. Don’t allow that person to walk into the room with their negative energy and once they leave transfer it on to you. Nope not today, tell that negative energy, spirt, or being, to exit every stage doesn’t matter if its left or right.

Quick background bio on the movie, is about a career woman who plays a series of heartless mind-games or rules as she calls it to keep a man in check only to discover that he has few tricks of his own. My girl wasn’t ready for that fine specimen of a man Keith to serve her up exactly what she’s giving. Now please I do urge you to watch or rewatch the movie if you haven’t done so already and do not try any of these tricks or mind games in your relationship now, but there are couple scenes I wish we could bring back. So, in order to kick this off here are my top 3 scenes I wish we could bring back now in 2023.

1. The questions Keith approached Shante with the night they met. Here’s how it started; excuse me can I ask you some questions? Now if I’m right about you all the answers to these questions will be yes. Do you like Chocolate? Do you think that I find you attractive? If I were to kiss you right now, would you slap me? Don’t you find me attractive? Would you like to dance? (Let just pause right here because my heart just melted all over again) the approach alone is just so good, and I know it’s hard to do but if you feel like you’ve ever locked eyes with someone long enough give it a try and let me know how it worked.
2. Bring back all of the scenes with homegirls hanging out, talking, having fun without the need for everyone to have their phones out. Sorry but it’s rare to see a group of men or women hanging out anymore and not on social media the whole time or doing a video. More fun was built in these moments. Not just a bunch of people looking to expose their friends’ personal conversations or expression for viral status.
3. Bring back the cute dance lounges where you can go in and hear some good music and have a nice casual outing. It doesn’t have to be a high-class long wait line status bougie night club, but just a place you can go and vibe.
